Springtime
Springtime, Springtime,
Sing your song,
Bring your birds
Where they belong,
Help the trees grow
In the sun,
Watch the children,
Have such fun.
~ Alice
Buried In the Tomb
Buried in the tomb,
Never heard the boom,
Of drums in the distance,
Never heard the sighs,
Never heard the cries,
Of people ‘round the world,
Never heard the hounds,
Barking in their bounds,
To tell the world he died,
Buried in the tomb,
Never heard the boom,
Until he rose again.
~ Lynnie
Flying Away
The doors of the sky will open,
And fly away from the earth,
The dead in Christ will be woken,
To eternal life in heav'n.
<><><>
The wicked will run to the hills,
"Fall on us," they'll cry in vain,
But those who worked like devils,
Will see the wicked devil's doom.
<><><>
I want to be with the holy,
See my Lord come once again,
Be with Him eternal happy,
And be with Him in heaven.
~ Alice
