Cashew Gravy

Ingredients
Blend:
½ c. water
½ c. raw cashews, rinsed
¼-0.33 c. cornstarch or arrowroot powder
3-4 Tbsp. Bragg’s Liquid Aminos (or soy sauce or a bouillon cube, or more salt to taste)
1 Tbsp. onion powder
½ tsp. sea salt
Place above in a pot, add:
4 c. additional water
(may add grated carrot, diced onions, diced celery, diced or sliced mushrooms)
Directions
Stir in pot over medium - medium-high heat till thickened.
Gravy is even nicer when added to sautéed mushrooms and onions + any other add-ins you want.
I eat this gravy over rice or biscuits.
